UHNW Family looking for a Domestic Couple in the Cotswolds – Start ASAP

We are on the hunt for a hard-working Domestic Couple who are happy to carry out all encompassing duties on a large estate in the countryside.

External duties include:

• maintaining all gardens/formal lawns
• looking after the flower beds, kitchen garden and wild flower meadow
• Maintaining the swimming pool, tennis court, paddocks/extra grounds
• working closely with contractors to manage projects
• General handyman duties
• Basic understanding of electrician and plumbing
• Driving the clients when needed

Internal duties include:

• Housekeeping/cooking – very high housekeeping standards
• traditional housekeeping duties such as deep cleaning, lots of laundry, tidying, ironing, dealing with delicates, dusting, vacuuming etc
• basic cooking and following recipies
• working alongside chef to help prepare lunches/dinners
• dealing with dietary requitements
• keeping the house tidy at all times

The couple would need to be able to drive and have their own car. The client is in process of getting a car for the couple to use, however, for now, they will need to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for fuel where appropriate.

When the family is not in residence the couple would be expected to work Monday to Friday and carry out flexible hours. The family are only in residence for around 2 – 3 months of the year, maximum 2 weeks at a time. During the times that the family are in residence, the role becomes more intense, and the couple will need to be on hand and present for as much and long as needed. Outside of those times the role is theirs to shape and mould as long as everything is run the way the client wants it.

Lastly, the family have lots of other staff hired in London being able to work and interact with the team is imperative not to mention on occasion travelling to London to support the team there (this will not be a regular occurrence).

The ideal couple would work well in a team and happy muck in with everyone else. A bonus would be if the couple had experience in the Cotswolds and working on estates.
