A lovely family of four are on the hunt for an exceptional live in housekeeper to work from Thursday – Monday each week, on their stunning estate in Sussex, starting as soon as possible.
Duties will include:
- Hands on housekeeping, cleaning, washing and ironing
- Running a well-organized and well maintained household for the principals
- Liaise with estate team for ongoing preservation of estate holdings
- Care and upkeep of antique furnishings and various artwork’s
- Cooking fresh healthy family style lunch’s and dinners for the family and their guests Organizing, managing, overseeing two cleaning staff
- Taking care of household pets
- Occasional driving duties
- Grocery shopping, stock management for all properties on estate
- Linen management and control
- Creating flower arrangements for properties in use throughout estate
- Build and maintain good relations with suppliers and contractors
The property is mainly occupied by the client over the weekend from Friday – Sunday/Monday so it is vital the candidate is comfortable with weekend work.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience working in a large household for a busy family, be multi-talented and capable of turning their hand to a wide variety of tasks. Holding exemplary cleaning standards and having a can do attitude will be paramount in this role.
