UHNW Family looking for a Retainer Nanny/Housekeeper with extensive travel - ASAP

This busy family of 6 are looking for an organised, kind, pet friendly and caring Retainer Nanny / Housekeeper.

This candidate will be “on standby” to work in case the client’s full time Nanny / Housekeepers are not being available due to sickness or leave. The client will always do their best to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice should the candidate be required to work and in most scenarios, there should be more notice if it is covering planned annual leave. Should the retainer nanny/housekeeper wish to book annual leave themselves they will need to do so in advance with the client so they are not relied upon during this time.

The role is a mixture of the following duties as well as using initiative to see what is required and as responding to the employers’ needs on a flexible basis:

• Nanny responsibilities, mainly daytime, for 4 children aged 3-11
• Traditional housekeeping duties including laundry, general cleaning, nursery duties etc. (the family employ a cleaner)
• Some pet care (dogs and cats)
• Organisation of the children’s schedules and related administration
• Cooking for the children. Ability to provide balanced nutritious meals for the children.

The Nanny / Housekeeper needs to be a good team player who can respect professional boundaries. The candidate will need to work closely with the family and other household staff in the day to day organisation of the children’s schedules as well as being responsible for all normal nursery duties. All of the children are very happy and confident and enjoy doing activities which promote their varied interests.

THIS ROLE IS 60% HOUSEKEEPING AND 40% NANNY.

The base is London with extensive travel in the holidays so the Nanny will be supported in obtaining any required visas for travelling with the family, must be able to travel to EU/UK & USA.
