An exciting opportunity for a nanny/housekeeper to join a young family in Switzerland to help with their 3 year old son.
You will be required to work around 50 hours per week, spread over 5 days. You will get two days off mid-week. From time to time the family travel and may require you to change your normal day off depending on their needs – this will be discussed in advance.
Mum is very hands on and is looking for someone to support her in running the house, you’ll help her get the little one ready in the morning and will then take on the laundry and ironing duties for the family, keeping the public areas neat and tidy, cooking the little one’s food – both for his meal that day as well as some batch cooking for the freezer.
He will be starting nursery in August and attending from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll therefore work around 4 hours in the morning and will come on duty in the afternoon/ early evening to help with this bath and bedtime routine as well as babysitting 2 – 3 nights per week. There may be occasional overnight cover (with the baby monitor) required, depending on the event the parents attend.
The client is seeking a candidate with high standards and experience handling luxury homes, clothes, traveling, food, etc. With regards to childcare, the candidate needs to be engaging, creative and energetic. In sum, the ideal candidate will have worked with another UHNWI family, luxury hotel or on a yacht, with the relevant experience caring for newborns/toddlers.
You will have your own self-contained apartment which comprises, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/living area and separate entrance.
The family also employs a cleaner who comes in once or twice a week.
The family owns a little Yorkshire Terrier – so an animal lover is essential.
Driver is a bonus but not essential.
