Live-in Housekeeper required for a Museum home in West London – Flexible Start

The role entails traditional housekeeping duties such as deep cleaning, hoovering, dusting, polishing, occasional laundry and tidying. Other duties will include light admin tasks such as creating rotas and dealing with contractors.

This is an incredibly unique search and not your typical household role. The candidate would be required to housekeep a house museum in Holland Park. The house has four bedrooms, a library, an office and a sitting room area. No one would be living in the household, but the museum is open to the public four days a week and the candidate would be responsible for its upkeep. On the rare occasion, the principal might be in residence up to four times a year, but this isn’t fixed.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is content living and working by themselves, trustworthy, calm and a happy individual to have around.

Hours: 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday – Friday

Accommodation: basement flat + bills

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE) + bills
