Family of 5 looking for a Housekeeper/Cook in Hertfordshire – Start ASAP

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Housekeeper/Cook to work in a beautiful home in Hertfordshire. This role will be suited to someone who is happy to put their hand to various household tasks and enjoys working around children (aged 11 and 9).

The role will include traditional housekeeping duties from laundry, cleaning, running errands, dealing with contractors and deep cleaning. The client is also looking for someone who is competent in the kitchen and can produce two family meals a day. 

The ideal candidate would be someone who is enthusiastic, has a can-do attitude and is able to cook consistently at a family-level. The family travel down to Cornwall for two weeks each year so someone who is happy to travel with them is a bonus.

Start: ASAP

Children: one girl aged 11 and twin girls aged 9

Hours: 20 – 40 hours/week. Monday – Friday (flexible depending on what works for the candidate)

Accommodation: Ideally Live-out (accommodation can possibly be organised if needed)

Driving: Essential, car provided

Salary: Approx. £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
