This family is looking for a nanny to look after their 6 month old daughter.
The family has had a maternity nurse, and you’ll be taking over from her, keeping the baby’s routine and adapting it as she grows. You’ll also be responsible for sourcing activities, monitoring developmental milestones such as weaning, and standard nursery duties. Mum likes to be hands on when possible, so you must be happy with shared charge on occasions.
The family travels extensively, spending about 5 months of the year in London and splitting the rest of their time between Milan, The Bahamas, USA and other European locations. You’ll have experience travelling with a baby, knowing what to pack for each trip, helping the baby adjust to jetlag, and keeping her entertained on long travel days.
In all locations you’ll be provided with a bedroom and bathroom. When in London, there is the option to live out if you’d prefer.
Working hours in London are 5 days a week, generally 9am to 7pm, but with some babysitting and overnight care occasionally. When travelling you will be on 24 hour call, up to 7 days per week but time off will be arranged in each location. There will be no fixed days off per week.
Driver not essential, but would be a bonus. An EU passport with UK working rights is essential.
This role would suit an independent person who enjoys the idea of exploring the world.
