A fabulous position for a Private Villa host to work for our lovely client over the summer.

The client is looking for a professional villa host with fantastic FOH experience who will work to an extremely high standard at all times. You will be responsible for organising evening gatherings for the client and their guests, as well as serving drinks and canapés and lending a general helping hand.

Private accommodation is provided and this will be separate from the main house. The numbers will range from 2-10 guests and you will be their go-to for the smooth running of the holiday and upkeep of the villa.

The ideal candidate will have a fantastic eye for detail, readily be able to use their initiative and have plenty of enthusiasm to maintain a lovely atmosphere throughout the summer for the client and all guests.

• Location: South of France
• Dates: 22^nd June – 22^nd August
• Days working: 6 days/week (one day off)
• Property: Large private villa
• Numbers: ranging from 2 – 10 people (no children younger than 16 years old)
• Other Staff: Villa host and housekeeper
• Duties include (but not exclusive to):

• Serve guests
• Making drinks and cocktails
• Serving canapés
• Looking after the pool area (towels and sunbeds are put out in the morning)
• Sweeping terraces
• Airport runs
• Running errands
• Helping the chef shopping
• General helping hand – helping lay the tables, clear, tidy etc
• Putting the music on,  creating an ambiance in the villa
• Hosts fun evenings – various set ups with drinks (tasting evenings)

• Experience: ideally worked on yachts, as a chalet host and got lots of FOH experience
• Languages: French preferable (not essential)
• Accommodation: private accommodation away from the main house (no wifi in the accommodation, so you will need to use the main house to download/call etc)
• Driver: Essential
• Shopping: Required
• Personality: the client is looking for someone who has a good eye for detail, uses their initiative and is able to think on their feet
• Rate: £150/day + travel, accommodation and food
• NB: The client would like to conduct a fully paid trial for candidates she expresses interest in prior to the job commencing
