Full Time Assistant Chef for Leading Law Firm to start ASAP

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated chef to work in distinguished London offices for a wide range of internal and external events.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team of qualified chefs where you will learn a huge amount and will be able to develop your culinary skillset in the kitchen. The client is looking for someone who is keen for progression in their role within the company with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is a willing team player.

You will be working on a rotation between their client dining room where you will be cooking fine dining food which is beautifully plated, and their employee café where you will be cooking for high volumes, which although extremely rewarding, can be physically demanding. Therefore they are looking for someone robust who will be pro-active & dynamic.

Attractive working hours of 8am-3:30pm Monday to Friday, this job offers an amazing work/life balance. You will be working in a team of 8-10 other chefs and there will be plenty of opportunity to grow and develop within your role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing & friendly team, who will be moving into a sustainable building with a brand new kitchen within a couple of years.

• Job Title: Corporate Chef
• Start Date: ASAP
• Days Working: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8am – 3.30pm (35 hour week – if you work beyond these hours you will paid overtime)
• Duties: working between the client dining kitchen (fine dining) and the employee café producing a fresh and creative spread of meals, focusing on sustainability
• Team: working in a team of approx. 8 – 10 permanent chefs and additional temporary chefs when needed
• Experience: past experience working for high-end catering companies, restaurants or corporate clients essential
• Benefits: chefs receive an extensive benefits package including a good pension scheme, private health care, gym membership etc.
• Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum + overtime and attractive benefits package + yearly bonus
